Meet Rachael

Rachael Melot will make the tough calls
A country girl at heart

Rachael grew up a “little country girl” as the daughter of a rancher. She graduated from Sulphur High School before attending Oklahoma Baptist University on a track and field scholarship, becoming an eight-time school record holder. Today, Rachael is an accomplished leader, business owner and author.

Nobody works harder
Rachael has been drawn to hard work and challenges her entire professional career, including more than 20 years as an NCAA Division 1 basketball referee. She most recently owned a retail store in Shawnee and also served as CEO of Shawnee Forward, where she led economic development efforts.

Rachael is smart, tough and passionate about building a better future for her family and yours. It’s why she’s worked so hard to grow business in our community, and why she’s stepping up to do even more – tackle inflation, improve education, protect women’s sports, build good roads and bridges, and fight for our conservative values.
